Based in Middleton, south Leeds, the Rams have been representing Yorkshire in kitted American Football for 25 years. During that time they have established themselves as one of the leading forces in British Football in the North of England. Following relegation in the 2005 season, the Rams have been playing in Britain's second tier, until 2012 that is. Following promotion, Yorkshire will play in the BAFANL Premiership North where they will be competing for the opportunity to play-off for the national title at Britbowl 26. 2012 will see the Rams continue long-standing rivalries with younger neighbours Doncaster Mustangs, and Glasgow's East Kilbride Pirates. It shall also see the old rivalry with historical powerhouse Birmingham Bulls reignited, with the first matchup between these two teams since 2006. Leicester Falcons and Tamworth Phoenix take up the other two spots in the division, and represent brand new matchups for Yorkshire's team.
The Rams welcome new, and experienced players to join their ranks, as well as volunteers and coaching staff. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about getting involved with Yorkshire's oldest team.
